It replaces manual control of the boiler, the steam valve and the cut changes with a controller that reads your column's pressure and temperature every second and acts on them. The column holds its own conditions, so every batch runs the way your best batch did.

Yes. ColumnOS is built as a retrofit. We add the sensors, a proportional steam valve, a control panel and a screen to the column you already run. The shutdown needed for installation is planned with you in advance.

Because pressure sets the boiling point. Hold the pressure and every material boils at the same temperature in every batch, so the cuts land in the same place. The pressure difference across the column also shows how hard it is boiling, which keeps the trays working properly.

An on/off valve sends full steam even when the column needs part of it, then shuts completely and lets the column cool. Opening at 25, 50, 75 or 100% puts in only the heat the column can use, so less steam is wasted and conditions stay steadier.

Because every reading from every batch is stored, we build on top of it: each run scored against your best ones, drift flagged, and steam use tracked product by product. The dashboard can also track crude input quality, feed quantity, yield per cut and anything else you measure.
